TROPICANA


Supplies Needed:

I’m using the artwork of Michael Landefeld. He is a pay to use artist. You can purchase his art here: CILM


Open all you supplies in PSP. Resize supplies as needed to suit your tag.

Open a new canvas 600x600 and flood fill white. Copy and paste your straw frame. Grab your magic wand tool and click inside your frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 4. Copy and paste paper of choice. I used a blue one cause it worked better later for the effect we’re going to add.

Selections, Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Selections, Select None and move this layer below your frame layer. Copy and paste your tropical tree. Add a drop shadow of V+H 3, O 50, B 6.00, C black. Place it to the top left of your tag. Duplicate, Image, Mirror. Merge Down. Duplicate, Image, Flip. Merge down.

You should now have your tree on all 4 corners of your tag. Move this layer so it’s right above your white background layer. Choose one of your bows and copy and paste it onto your tag placing where desired. Add the same drop shadow as above.

I copied and pasted all of my shells and placed them around my frame adding the same drop shadow as above. Grab your magic wand tool once more and click inside your frame. Selections, Modify, Expand by 4. Copy and paste your tube of choice. Selections, Invert and hit delete on your keyboard.

Selections, Select None and move this layer below your frame layer. Add the same drop shadow as above. I moved the opacity of my tube layer to 80% and changed the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy). Copy and paste your main tube adding the same drop shadow as above. Place it where is looks good.

Crop and resize if needed. Add all your copy right info and your name. I used font Bamboo and provided it. I used Colors: #79542e for Foreground and # dfcaa1 for Background.

Animation


Now for the fun part!! lol

Hide all of your layers except your paper layer and luminance tube layer. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation. Go to Effects, Insert Image Effect, Underwater with the following settings.

Click customize and use these settings.

My exact wave digits were:
Dashes are for negative #'s
Wave 1 (-17 -26)
Wave 2 (3 -51)
Wave 3 (-52 8 )
Wave 4 (-7 -14 )
Wave 5 (18 35)
Wave 6 (35 -35)
Wave 7 (32 1)
Wave 8 (-28 -12)
Click ok. Delete frame 1.

Go back to PSP and hide those 2 layers and unhide your white background and tree layers. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation. Duplicate it until you have a total of 20 frames. Make sure propagate paste is checked.

Copy and paste your water effect animation into you white background/tree animation. Try to get it as centered as you need. Go back to PSP and hide your white background and tree layers. Leave the paper and luminance tube layer hidden but unhide the rest.

Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation. Copy and paste this layer into you tag lining it up as best as possible.

Whew! View animation and if happy save as a gif. All done!! I hope you’ve enjoyed this tut! :0)
