Eye Candy 5 – Textures – Texture Noise


I’m using the artwork of Jennifer Janesko. She is a pay to use artist. You can purchase her art here: CILM


Open all your supplies in PSP. Resize supplies to suit your tag.

Open a new canvas 600x600 and flood fill white. Copy and paste your frames of choice. (If you use the same kit I'm using, you will need to use your preset shape elipse on 2 of the frames to make the circle b/c the frames are not continuous. Convert to raster and also use them when adding your tubes. Delete the preset shapes at the end when you're finished with your tag). Grab your magic wand tool and click inside one of your frames. Selections, Modify, Expand by 3. Copy and paste your paper. Selections, Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Selections, Select None. Move this layer below your frame layer. Repeat the above step for your other 2 frames.

Copy and paste your doodle. Add a drop shadow of V+H 1, O 50, B 6.00, C black. Duplicate and place where it looks good. Copy and paste your butterflies. Add a drop shadow of V+H 3, O 50, B 6.00, C black. Place them where desired. Merge your butterfly layers together.

Grab your magic wand tool once more and click inside one of your frames. Selections, Modify, Expand by 3. Copy and paste your tube and move it into place. Selections, Invert and hit delete on your keyboard. Selections, Select None. Move this layer below your frame layer. Repeat the above steps for your other 2 frames.

Crop and resize if needed. Add all your copyright info and your name. I used font P22 Corinthia.


Animation


Make one of your paper layers active and add Texture Noise with the following settings.

Add the same effect to your other 2 paper layers. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Go back to PSP and click undo until you’ve removed the effect from all 3 paper layers. Now add the same again to all 3 paper layers again but remember to hit random seed. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after current frame. Repeat the above steps once more so you have a total of 3 frames in animation shop.

Select All and move your frame properties to 30. View animation and if happy save as a gif. All done! I hope you’ve enjoyed this tut! :0)
