This tutorial was written by me on 7/28/08.
It was written in PSP XI, but can be done in any version.


Supplies needed for this tutorial:

4 close-up tubes of choice
I am using the stunning artwork of Keith Garvey
You can purchase a license to use his work Here

Scrap kit of choice, or you can purchase the kit that
I'm using HERE called

My supplies are at the bottom of this page

Let's get started
Open the pink star ani in Animation Shop
Open the rest of your supplies in PSP and minimize for now

Open the IFDtemp02
Delete the watermark layer
Remember to " save as" and rename
Image, canvas size, with these settings

Activate the white background layer on the bottom
Floodfill the transparent parts with white

Click on the outside circle layer
Grab your color changer tool & floodfill with #b281ad
Just click it on any part of the circle, and it will fill the whole circle
If you're using an older version of PSP, you may need to get out your magic wand & click
on the parts of the circle, and floodfill with the color tool

Now activate the inside circle layer
Floodfill with #ec9651 with your color changer tool

Circle layer, fill with #f36c7a with the color changer
Effects, texture effects, weave, with these settings


Grab your magic wand and click inside one of the "frame backgrounds"
Copy & paste a paper of your choice into the selection
Deselect
Repeat this with all 4 of the frame backgrounds

On the "frames", use your color changer tool & fill with white
Effects, drop shadow, with these settings


Copy & paste on of your tubes as a new layer between the frame background 1,
and frame 1
Resize as needed
Apply the same drop shadow as before
Position it inside of the frame
Activate frame 1 layer
Grab your magic wand & click inside of it
Selections, modify, expand by 4, selections, invert
Back to your tube layer, hit delete on your keyboard
Deselect
Repeat this with your other tubes until you have all 4
frames with a tube in them

Activate the white background layer & close it out
Copy merged & paste as a new layer
Effects, Mura Meister Copies, with these settings

Layers, load mask from disk, with these settings

Layers, merge, merge group
Resize 110%
Drop the opacity on this layer to 50
Change the blend mode to Luminance Legacy

Grab your preset shape tool, rectangle, background black, foreground null
Draw out a long slim rectangle & position at the top of your tag
Refer to my tag for reference
Once happy with it, convert to raster layer

Copy & paste one of the heart bows as a new layer
Layers, arrange, move to top
Resize as needed
Position at the left of your tag
Duplicate & position to the right of your tag
Again, please refer to my tag for reference
Layers, merge, merge down
Close out this layer

Make sure the white background layer is still hidden
Merge all other layers visible
Effects, drop shadow, with the same settings as before
Unhide the white background layer, but keep the heart bow layer hidden

Add your name and any copyright information

* Animation *

Make sure you have propogate paste selected in AS!

Copy merged and paste in AS as a new animation
Duplicate until you have 7 frames
Select all frames
I'll refer to this as the "tag" animation

Activate the Pink star ani
Select all frames & copy

Back to your tag animation, paste into selected frame,
Positioning on the black rectangle
Repeat as many times as you choose along the black rectangle

Back in PSP, unhide the heart bow layer
Copy and paste in AS as a new animation
Duplicate to 7 frames, select all frames, copy
Activate the tag animation again & paste into
selected frame, positioning over the black rectangle

Check the animation, and once happy with it, save as a gif
and you're done!
