This tutorial was written by me on 5/27/08.
It was written in PSP XI, but can be done
in any version.

Supplies needed for this tutorial:

Tube of choice
I am using the awesome artwork of Elias Chatzoudis
You can purchase a license to use his work HERE
Please do not use the same tube without
a license.

Brushes in the supplies zip
One of the brushes I am using is from
Suzanne Woolcott
You can visit her site HERE

My template

Plugins:
Simple

Font of choice
I am using Inspiration, which is a pay font,
therefore i cannot supply.

Also, you may need a little patience for this one lol

My supplies are at the bottom of the page.

Okie Dokie, let's get started.
Open your supplies in PSP.
Import the brushes
(For those that don't know how, I'll show you)
Go to File, Import, Custom brush

Open the folder where the brushes are located on your computer

Click add all then ok
Now when you open your paintbrush, they will be there

Open a new canvas 600x600
Floodfill white

Open the Check It Out Template
Copy Layer 3 and paste as a new layer
Copy Layer 2 and paste as a new layer
Copy Layer 1 and paste as a new layer
Name the layers 1, 2, 3....here is the way the
layer palette should look

Close out the white background layer
Close out layer 3

Copy merged and paste in Animation Shop
as a new animation
Make SURE you have selected the propogate
paste clicked!!

Go back to PSP and close out layer 2,
and unhide layer 3

Copy merged and paste in AS after current frame
Click on frame 1
Effects, Insert Image Transition with these settings

Go back to the first frame in AS and copy
Paste after the LAST frame ( Frame 9)
Click on Frame 9
Effects, Insert Image Transition with the same settings
as before
You should now have 17 frames in this animation
We'll refer to this as the "Checks" animation

Back in PSP unhide the white background layer

Add a new layer over the white background layer
Grab your paintbrush and find the wlj tilez brush
Using color black, cover the area around the template

Add a new layer
Find the gorjuss checks brush and using the color
black again, rotate the brush 90%

Apply at the top left of the template
Effects, simple, top left mirror

Add a new layer
Rotate the brush to 180%
Apply in the middle top of the template
Effects, Simple, top left mirror
Layers, duplicate, image, free rotate, left 90%

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Effects, drop shadow, with these settings

Add your name and any copyright info

Hide all layers except the white background
and the brush layers
Copy merged and paste in AS as a new animation
Duplicate this until you have 17 frames
Select all frames

On the "Checks" animation, select all, copy,
paste into selected frame in the middle of the
brushes on the tag

Go back to PSP and hide the white background
layer and the brush layers
Unhide the tube layer, and the name and copyright layers
Copy merged and paste in AS as a new layer
Duplicate until you have 17 frames
Select all, copy and paste into selected frame
on your tag

Change the frame properties to 20 and
save as a gif and you're done.
