*WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT*



This tutorial was written by me 5/08.

Supplies needed for this tut:
Tube of choice
I am using the stunning artwork of Elias Chatzoudis
You can purchase a license to use his work
at HERE
Please do not use the same tube without a license
Script font of choice
Broadway BT font (standard PC font)
Plugins:
Eyecandy 4000 Gradient Glow(optional)
Penta.com, colour dot



Let's get started...This one is quick and easy.
Open a new canvas 600x600 ( you can resize later if needed)
Floodfill white
Copy and paste your tube as a new layer
Resize as needed
Effects, drop shadow, V-2 H-2 opacity 50 blur 5
color black

Grab your preset shape tool, rectangle
Foreground set to #bc536a, background set to #f9f0b8
Solid line style, width 3 anti-alias checked
Draw out a rectangle long enough for
your tube to "sit" on
Objects, align, horizontal center in canvas
Convert to raster and drag under your tube layer
Duplicate
On the bottom rectangle layer, adjust, blur,
Gaussian blur, 20
Effects, penta.com, colour dot, with these settings

Activate the top rectangle layer
Grab your magic wand & click on the inside (Yellow)
part of the rectangle
Effects, penta.com, colour dot, with the same settings
Deselect
Give this layer the same drop shadow as your tube

Activate the tube layer & duplicate
On the bottom tube layer,
Adjust, blur, gaussian blur, 20
Effects, penta.com , same settings
Drag this layer under the top rectangle layer

Add a new layer , layers, arrange, bring to top
Get out your selections tool, rectangle, feather 0
anti-alias checked
Draw out 2 long slender rectangles
Floodfill one of the rectangles with #bc536a
& the other with #f9f0b8
Effects, penta.com, colour dot, same settings
Deselect
Add same drop shadow
Check my tag for placement
Layers, duplicate
Image, mirror

Get a nice, scripty font and type out
"What I Want When I Want!"
Position at the top of your tag

Now for your name, i used the #bc536a color
for this text, Broadway BT
for my large font, it is a standard font on your PC
Type out your name and position it inside
of the large rectangle
I also added penta.com, colour dot, same settings as before

Now type out your name again, this time with
a nice, scripty font, and color #f9f0b8 and position over the other name layer
Effects, Eyecandy 4000, gradient glow (optional)
with these settings:


Give it the same drop shadow

Add a new layer, floodfill with #f9f0b8
Selection, select all,selections, modify, contract by 1
Hit delete once on your keyboard
Do NOT deselect
Floodfill again with #bc536a
Selections, modify, contract by one
Hit delete on your keyboard once
Deselect

Layers, merge, merge visible
Add any copyright info and save as
a png and you're done.
