FALLEN ANGEL


Supplies Needed:
Tube

Filters Needed:
Penta.com – Dot and Cross (optional)
VM Instant Art – Spider Web
Eye Candy 4000 – Gradient glow (optional)

I'm using the artwork of Martin Abel. He is a pay to use artist and you can purchase his art here: CILM


Open a new canvas 600x500 and flood fill white. Grab your preset shape tool. Foreground set to a color to accent your tube. I used #5b487e. Background set to black. Set to rectangle with the following settings.


Draw out a rectangle to a size that looks good for your tag. Convert to raster. I added a gradient glow to mine of white but this is your choice. Add a drop show of V+H 3, O 50, Blur 6.00, Color black.

For the words I used 2 colors to accent my tube, dark purple and light purple. With a block type font (I used A&S ShoCard Block) write out the word fallen. Convert to raster. Then with a script type font (I used A&S Signwriter) write out the word angel. Convert to raster.

I added a gradient glow to my fallen and the same drop shadow as above to both words. Merge Down twice so that your rectangle and both words are all on one frame.

Add Penta.com – Dot and Cross with the following settings. (optional)


Grab your preset shape once more. Set both Foreground and Background to your darker color. With the same settings as above but make the shape elispe and draw out a circle a size to suit your tag. Convert to raster. Move it below your rectangle layer.

I also added a gradient glow to my circle and the same drop shadow as above. The gradient glow is optional. (If you’re interested in my gradient glow settings. They are Basic 3.00, 25, 100. Color white. I added it twice).

Copy and paste your tube of choice and place where desired. Add the same drop shadow as above. Crop and resize if needed. Add all copyright info and your name. I used font A&S Speedway.


Animation


Make your circle layer active. Add VM Instant Art – Spider Web with the following settings.

Copy Merged and paste into animation shop as a new animation.

Go back to PSP and hit undo. Add Spider Web again but change the top line to 30. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after current frame. Go back to PSP once more hit undo and add Spider Web with the same settings but change the top line to 40. Copy Merged and paste into animation shop after current frame.

Click on frame 2 and copy and paste it after frame 3 for a total of 4 frames. Select All and set Frame properties to 30. View animation and if happy save as a gif. All done! I hope you’ve enjoyed this tut! :0)
